Hat Block | 5 Piece

This is a rare and amazing milliners hat block. I have not been able to find another the same online.

It is stamped to the front "GODFREY MELBOURNE"

It is made up of 5 pieces of solid hardwood that all slide on and off a central piece which has thick metal brackets. (see pics) The numbers engraved into the wood indicate how to match the pieces up correctly. This is truly a bespoke piece that has hundred of years left in it. Use it as a bookend, to sit your hats on or in a vignette with other beautiful pieces

• top from back to front is 26cm.
•  width across top is 22cm,
• base is 19.5cm x 17cm.
